Our apartment is in Residence Les Charmettes, one of the original St Foy developments right in the heart of the resort. It is just a few minutes walk to the first lift/nursery slope, the ski shops and the ski pass/tourist office, the Sherpa shop and all the bars and restaurants. The shuttle bus stop to other resorts is also a few minutes easy walk away.

Residence Les Charmettes contains ten apartments in three floors above three ground floor shops. All the apartments have fantastic views of Mount Pourri and the mountains on the far side of the valley. As well as the mountain views, our balconies overlook the centre of the resort with the Pitcholi bar and sun decking below. It really is a stunning location!

Our apartment, Apartment Tozzie Des Alpes, is on the second floor from the parking, two floors above the shop level at the ‘front’, in the centre of the building. (The apartments are all named after alpine flowers found locally.)

There is one small double bedroom (small even by ski apartment standards – but perfectly adequate for a good night’s sleep!), a good hallway with large bunk beds, a bathroom (with bath and shower over), separate loo and main living room/kitchen. There are good cupboards and coat hooks for all the ski gear and a ski locker just outside the front door for equipment. The apartment can sleep 7.

The living room is large and well equipped with a pine dining table and six chairs and a pine trundle sofa bed, which ingeniously converts to either two single beds or one double. There is a tv and big patio doors to the balcony and view.

We really like the kitchen area which has good storage space, an island unit/dresser, four-ring hob, sink, combi oven, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. It is well equipped for 6 people.

The apartment is in excellent decorative order having been newly decorated and refitted in 2006.
